It’s time for Graham’s Choice — Graham is an icon in the cycling word. He was one of the first photographers to brace the back of a moto and photograph almost all the European races.
Graham has been a part of the Mark Gunter Photographer of the Years Awards since before we started. He’s our ambassador and we love him being a part of it. Mark himself used to photograph races on Graham’s behalf when Graham was needed somewhere else. Thank you Graham for your ongoing support over the years.
I know from experience that it’s a thrill to be selected in Graham’s Choice. Congratulations to all our photographers chosen by Graham.
Enjoy Graham’s choice — in order from 1st to 10th!

Graham has been with the Awards since it’s inaugural year in 2016. He was the most well known cycling photographer of his generation and someone anyone who was an avid cyclist and follower of the Tour de France knew of. Graham’s iconic images captured many of cycling’s most moments over his 44 years of photography.
In years gone by, Graham has selected his top 10 as ‘Graham’s Choice’. This year, he’s done the same. Read one to see his first to tenth image choices in the Amateur category.
“The moment the stadium roared and the roof came off! as Emma Hinze beat Mathilde Gros in the third all or nothing round of the women’s sprint, bringing Hinze her third gold medal of the European championships in Munich.” Lewis Allan @lewisallanphotography
Thank you Graham Watson for your insightful choices.
