It is with great pleasure that CyclingTips and I – Leeanne Gatien, Mark Gunter’s wife – can confirm that the funds raised from the entry fees to the 2020 Mark Gunter Photographer of the Year Awards have been finalised and passed on.

This year paying the entry fees were optional – as it was a hard time for so many people around the world, and we didn’t want that to be a factor in seeing the amazing images we’re so used to.

All the proceeds from this year’s awards were donated to donated to Tour de Cure. Tour de Cure is a registered charity whose mission is to cure cancer. Through inspirational cycling tours and events across Australia, TDC funds the boldest research, the most talented scientists and the pioneering cancer projects that Tour de Cure believes have the greatest potential impact to find a cure for cancer.
